On Sunday of September 8, 2019 Daegu Love Challenge, which is one of the representative local events in Daegu, was held in Dongseong market  beating the summer heat.
The challenge got the participants involved in many hands-on activities including art craft making, trying Ttoekbboiki and Korean calligraphy.

“I think this type of activities really motivate many foreigners in Korea to learn deeply about Daegu, which is why I love it.” said one of the winners from Pakistan.

Director Jeong expressed his appreciate saying “Hope this event will help residents find out how art changes a traditional market. It is really great event that all foreigners can enjoy.”

Organizers hope that this local event will become a global festival to have all the tourists and the local residents in the near future.
